To find a real life purpose is one of the hardest things in life. Most people think that they found their purpose, but then a little time goes by, and they get bored and begin looking for something else to do or a new purpose in life.
In my world, a life purpose is something that is a part of you and that you do on a daily basis, whether you get paid or not. It is something you are going to be passionate about until the end of your days, not just for a month or a year.
It was very important for me to find my life purpose, because I do not want to have any regrets about not achieving my life goal. For me, a life goal means leaving a legacy. According to one of the most popular psychologists of the last century, Viktor Frankl, the meaning of life, or purpose as I call it, is the only thing that will give you motivation to live a long, healthy, and happy life.
You can always find temporary motivation and keep waiting for new things to happen to you, or you can identify what your life purpose is:
What is your life meaning?
What are your talents?
What do you love to do that can offer value to others?
What will make you happy from now and until the end of your days?
Why are you reading this?
As humans, we are not as complicated as most people think. All we want is to be happy. The meaning of happiness might be different to each of us based on our conditioning. At the end of my life, I want to feel good about my accomplishments, knowing that I have left something of a value for the future generation.

This is a wonderful post Alex. For the past year I’ve struggled with this, the search for my purpose but it’s becoming more and more clear to me where my path is going and what I truly love.
Glad you enjoyed it, but After 2 month here, and over 13,000 followers, I’m not sure that blogging is a good way to share my teachings, I’m thinking deleting this blog for lack of value to myself and others
Really? That would be sad for us. But only you can judge if it’s really worthwhile. 13,000 followers is an amazing number but in the end it’s how many actually interact with you. And what you want to achieve with it.
I’m here to share my teachings that saves people’s lives, but it seems that no one in blogging community is interested in, I got 5 times more people involved in a small church within 30 minutes than here in 2 month with hundreds people visiting blog daily. Blogging seems like a wrong medium for such deep teachings.
People looking for entertainment not for life saving knowledge here, and few that seemed to be interested, did not want to take any action…
People not interested to live their life, they wish to sleep thru it, and at the end complain that it was too short….
Awaken person will achieve 100 times more in 5 years than average people during their whole life
Sometimes it’s not the quantity and numbers that matters so long as you touch someone … Maybe you’re right and people are looking more for entertainment and quick fix solutions although I think there are many of us who are searching for answers and direction. For me personally, I know I’ve started some action but I can’t speak for anyone else.
maybe I helped someone without even knowing it, ok I’ll keep it on, just stop searching for people who need my help
Instead I’ll let them search for me :)
Just keep putting your message out there Alex. The people who need it and want it will come to you. Just like I did. :)
You are right about not the quantity but the quality matter. You alone convinced me to keep the blog up. One against over 13,100 others :)
I’m sure there are others Alex but regardless I’m glad your blog is staying.
The most trajic part of human desire is their ceaseless struggle for satisfaction which is never extinguishable. After fulfilment of each purpose and goal we set out another goal which is the root of every unhappiness. We remain continuously unhappy until death….. I also strongly believe in leading a healthy, positive and vibrant life which should be our purpose.
In my world there should be only one purpose – Awakening, everything else is a waste of life…
This is awesome., I’d like my purpose to be inspiring and helping others as well as myself.:)
Thank you and i absolutely mean that :)
In my place and with my friends, I noticed that most of the time, our purpose will be decayed over time and the most important thing to keep us doing something is about the environment.

just a personal opinion :)
its true ,….funny thing is we ( humans ) are the ones making our selves complicated .. :)
exactly, our Egos make us want to be bigger and more complex then we really are
A wonderful post Alex. I’ve felt for many years now that my only purpose is to live my Truth. By that I mean “Thy will not my will”. By that I mean listening to my heart, finding what fills me with joy. It’s not necessarily about what’s easy, or safe. It’s about discovering ‘right movement’ on a moment by moment basis. Joy is contagious. Anything that fills me with joy will add to the positive energy in the world. Everyone in their own small way can be a force for good in the world, even if they do nothing more than live quiet anonymous lives. All they need to do is listen to what the heart wants instead of what seems logical. And then dig deep for the courage to live by it. Having said all that I think it’s also usually needed that we crawl through the muck to find our truth, to find the ‘still small voice’ of the heart, to surrender old patterns, to find the courage to live differently. But purpose is simply to be on this journey of self-discovery, to be committed to that, to want that more than anything else.
I’ll write more about this :)
Thank you for taking your irreplaceable time to read my post and share your opinion.
You becoming my number one fan :)
If you decide to reblog it and share it with your readers it would be a huge honor for me!!!
While I do enjoy your writings, and your energy, I must decline your suggestion of reblogging. My blog has a very specific focus, and that is to record Don’s and my journey, both inner and outer, as ‘older’ intentionally homeless nomads. It’s getting to be nearly five years now that we’ve been on this journey. Here’s a post about the beginning:
I’m still working on a guest post for you. Darn it – life keeps getting in the way! :)
I was kidding about reblogging, I never serious about anything
I always try to find humor n everything, it is one of the Buddhist philosophies that I accepted into my life.
Okay. Chuckle. I completely missed that!
I know your blog about traveling and not awakening :)
I am fascinated with your lifestyle, I got tired of traveling after couple of years
After 2 years I could even tell where I was or why I was there….
Would love to talk to to you one of this days
We just decided a couple of months ago that we’re not yet ready to stop. I think it helps to keep a blog. It helps me to remember where we’ve been. We still know why – still fascinated with all the different ways people do life, and all the beautiful places inn the world.
Hope we get to talk one day.

Well put together. #thumbsup
I have recently taken up blogging for a similar reason. To reach out, to hurting people especially women who have lost children. I haven’t places my story out yet as i am still testing the waters, or just nervous about it. My journey prior was in search of my purpose and i did ask myself the above questions in your post. And finding your purpose can be easy yet difficult. One needs to understand and accept first that everything on this earth has a purpose, no matter if its an ant. The only person who can guide you to your purpose is your manufacturer. Some quiet time and self reflection is one way to begin. Thanks for posting.
The inquisitiveness of humans is always perplexing. Search never ends.
Agree in one condition : for asleep person search never ends. For awaken it ends
For awaken person search ends in minutes,
For a sleep person search will never end
If search ends in destination the person awakens. If it doesn’t there is deep slumber.
Some people live their whole life with no purpose, that’s about 220.127.116.11.9 % of world population
Purpose only needed by a spiritual person, other people are happy with money and ignorance
Ignorance is a bliss after all…
Great post Alex Moses. It’s hard to put ourselves in a box when a creative mind drives our thoughts :)
You gave me a great idea for the post
Where our thoughts are coming from and why?
Awesome :) I’ll be looking forward to it.
I think your life purpose is exactly that….it is about your life and takes a lifetime to realise. All the little things you do along the way add up to a whole picture. Too many people want fixes and perfection straight away :-)
Life cant be fixed, because it is nothing more then a period of time.
How can you fix time ?
Great point 😊
This is the blog I was searching for……I like reading & implementing such things in my life…..infact I love too write something which motivates the readers
If u wish u can read my blog at http://wp.me/p7H2Rj-4
I agree with you , also in my opinion that everyone of us search for his purpose in life because that purpose makes him happy and this what everybody search for is happiness , and the happiness is A temporary thing in life does not last all the time , so that’s why when someone got his purpose and time goes by and he felt sad or bored, he will search for Another purpose and life is imperfect.

‘A Purpose’ is something that, I believe, follows us in every aspect and stage of our lives. Somehow, I wish to believe that it is not always just One Thing. Life is a journey, and everyday is a new chance for us to become something more than we were yesterday. Therefore, we always Change, and so do our purposes in life. At one point we choose to walk ‘Path A’, and when we serve our purpose there, then we become something more and choose to change directions, that lead us to our next purpose. I don’t know, I guess it’s just how I look at it. More purposes= More Creativity and it makes Life more interesting. :D
Oh, and I couldn’t help but notice you commenting to stop blogging – please don’t! It’s just amazing that, two days ago, I made a final decision to become a Life Coach as well, and here I am accidentally (OR NOT :D ) reading your blog! :D You make a difference, believe in that with all your hearth! :)
