- What is the Law of Balance?
As we know, the whole universe operates on the basic principle of duality and balance – from negative and positive charges in subatomic particles to opposite genders in humans and animals. We need a sense of balance to walk or ride a bicycle, just as a building needs structural balance to keep it from falling over. As soon as balance is disrupted, buildings collapse, relationships get destroyed, and life as we know it ceases to exist. This is why we have to obey the Law of Balance in order to have a stress-free life. The Law of Balance states that whatever action you take now is directly related to what the results will be later. In other words, you reap what you sow.
- How can I use this knowledge to benefit my day-to-day life?
The Law of Balance is dismissed by almost everyone, as if it did not exist. Still, everyone knows that you cannot even take a single step if you are out of balance. When it comes to personal and professional relationships, the balance is as important as communication and mutual respect. In any relationship, you always want to make sure that whatever you do is a win-win proposition and not a one-sided benefit. Most people use friends to gain favors or get some work done for free – people love getting something for nothing or at least at a great discount – but the problem in this case is that the balance shifts in one direction and sooner or later the friendship becomes unbalanced and falls apart. The energy exchange between friends and partners should be no different than in any commercial enterprise: you exchange money (energy source) for goods or services that you want, which preserves the balance between you and the seller. When you pay for a meal at a restaurant, the owner will gladly continue to serve you, as long as the balance is maintained. As long as you apply the same principle in all your relationships, there will be a fair exchange of energy between all parties and you will quickly build a strong and healthy support network.
